My Story

Hello! My name is Jill Tapley and I started Andover Cat Nanny in July 2023 after successfully managing a dog walking small business for 5 years!

 

Growing up, I was not allowed to have a cat! When my husband and I moved to Andover, MA in July 2012, one of the very first things we did was adopt a cat, named Lola! She was a seven year old beautiful long haired tabby in need of a home due to her owner relocating and unable to bring Lola! Shortly after that, I began working as a pet sitter and have taken care of more than three hundred dogs and cats! (and a few other small animals as well!)

After doing mostly dog walking over the years, I decided to spend time working on connecting more with cats and their people! As a cat mom to two amazing cats, I understand the unique needs and behaviors of our kitties! I will attend local events discussing cat issues and rescue, have helped with TNR for the cats of Lowell, volunteer a few times a month with Feline Friends, and overall am constantly keeping up to date with and learning new information regarding the care of our beloved cats! 

 

I have liability insurance and am also Pet First Aid & CPR Certified and can provide references from repeat clients!
